The team at FAIRtigung Textil doesn’t just cut, sew, and iron – they also knot macramé!

When all sewing machines are occupied, our team spontaneously comes up with something new to keep learning and stay creative.

That’s how the macramé Christmas ornaments were born:

• Available in three sizes
• Each one a unique piece
• Hand-knotted

Thanks to the creativity of our team, the idea quickly turned into a Christmas workshop – and with the art of knotting called macramé, a touch of 70s flair entered the workspace.

Macramé is a knotting technique from the Orient used to make ornaments, textiles, or jewelry. It came to Europe through the Crusaders and the Moors (via Spain) and experienced several revivals over time. The most recent one in Germany was in the 1970s, characterized by rustic styles.
