Whenever all sewing machines are in use, we spontaneously come up with something new to stay creative and learn new skills.

Thanks to the creativity of our team, the idea quickly grew into a festive workshop. The knotting art of macramé brought a hint of 1970s flair to the studio.

Macramé is a knotting technique from the Orient used to create ornaments, textiles, or jewelry. It was introduced to Europe by the Crusaders and the Moors (via Spain). Since then, it has seen several revivals, producing intricate knot work – most recently in the 1970s in Germany, often with a rustic touch. (
